March 2025I’ve done a few trips through Barbara over the years… a lot of the time I go solo traveling. Each time I’ve had an incredible time. Ive gone to Dominican three times. She also booked my families big vacation and an insane GAdventures trip all over Peru which included a 46 km hike of the Inca trail to Machu Picchu. Ireland tripFarah is a great travel agent. I have booked a few trips with her and she navigates the unique situations I give her well. Calling airlines to match schedules, offering advice on what to do and where to stay in destinations, and dealing with problems. My friend and I had some issues with a resort we stayed in Jamaica. We were exhausted by the time we got our rooms and gave up but Farah was able to deal with our resort issues while we slept and the hotel was much more responsive to us the next day. I try to book with Farah whenever I can and you should too.

Anniversary TripI had been looking online unsuccessfully to book a scuba vacation when Karen suggested I join a group trip to Bonaire she had organized. The flights, accommodations and diving package were arranged quickly without any problems. Interesting group activities such as visiting the Bonaire Coral Restoration Foundation and group dinner outings were also organized. Overall this was one of my favourite vacations and I would book a future trip with Karen!

Karen looked after all the details and provided several options. We ended up at Dreams Playa Mujere Golf Resort. The perfect family resort. Our two grandkids loved it. The water slides and the kids club were a hit. For the adults the food was fantastic with many options. We upgraded to Preferred Club per Karen’s recommendation and enjoyed the private breakfast dining and select cabanas at the beach and pool. South AfricaMy family and I were scrambling after booking our own trip and finding out that the Covid guidelines would not be met at the location we chose due to a recent exposure and continuing to test positive on a PCR. We reach out to Karen who was able to help us find a new spot last minute. Best of all the place was wonderful. The Dreams Playa Mujeres Golf & Spa Resort, Cancun Mexico was perfect for our family. We had a blast at the water park, our kids enjoyed countless days at the kids club. Every time we went to check up on them they were well looked after and were having so much fun that they didn’t want to leave. This gave my wife and I a lot of time to read and relax, which was needed after the last few years. We were so thrilled to have a wonderful gift basket from Karen upon arrival and knew that she was available should new regulations come up or cancellations. They say travel agents are a thing of the past but I must disagree. With so much uncertainty and so many options being able to rely on a trusted advisor that knows what you are looking for and saving you time and money is a must.

With nothing more than a general idea of where I wanted to go, I reached out to Karen and asked her for some assistance in putting a trip together. Karen without hesitating jumped right in and helped create a trip that far exceeded my expectations. This trip on average takes most people a year to plan but, Karen was able to help me organized and get booked in 3 extremely short weeks. The entire trip was organized, well planned and never did I question if any details were missed. Karen took care of everything, making sure every detail was covered. She also helped to organize all the diving and required transportation which I greatly appreciated. Not once did I ever feel lost or have concerns I’d miss something. During the trip as I met people everyone expressed how well organized everything was and many shared that even after a year of planning many people, struggle with getting flights and lodging setup correctly. I also knew that while she wasn’t with me Karen took the extra time to monitor my trip progress ready to jump-in if something went wrong. Thanks to Karen, I was able to focus on having fun, meeting new friends and just enjoying some of the best diving in the world! I would highly recommend asking Karen for help planning your next trip.
