There is so much to do at Perfect Day Coco Cay, you’ll find yourself wishing you had more time! From the beaches, sports activities, waterslides, and food, there is plenty to keep you busy all day long. There is also a huge resort-style swimming pool. Additionally, there is a brand-new adults-only beach and pool area called Hideaway Beach.

What’s included? They definitely include a lot of things! You don’t need to spend money on extras to have a great time here.
There are four different beaches you have access to, and all the lounge chairs and umbrellas are free to use at all of them. And I will add, they are plentiful! You won’t have a hard time finding a chair to relax in.

Family Fun and Splash Areas

For the kids, there are two great water splash areas. There is a pirate ship water play and splash pad for smaller kids to climb and play on, shoot water guns, and explore. It includes a little sandy beach area right when you first arrive. There is also Splashaway Bay Waterpark for the under-10 crowd. It has lots of water slides, a climbing area, and a huge dump bucket for endless hours of fun!

Beaches, Games, and Island Activities

Did I mention all the beaches? There are four beach areas that are all free to access. You’ll find sports and activities like cornhole, basketball, jumbo Jenga, soccer billiards, beach volleyball, and more. No matter which beach you decide to spend time at, you’ll have free lounge chairs and umbrellas to use.

Oasis Lagoon

Right in the middle of the island, you’ll find the huge resort-style swimming pool, Oasis Lagoon. There are plenty of lounge chairs and umbrellas for everyone. Yes, they are free to use.

At one end, there is a fantastic zero-entry area. Scattered around the edges, you’ll find wonderful loungers right in the water. The swim-up bar will keep the drinks flowing all afternoon, and yes, if you have the drink package, it works on the island. There is also music spinning from the DJ.

Food and Drinks on the Island

Located on each beach, you will find snack shacks with burgers, mozzarella sticks, French fries, cookies, and funnel cakes. And yes, you’ll find a self-serve juice and water station as well.

In the middle of the island, you’ll find a central dining area where they serve lunch. You’ll find sandwiches, salads, tacos, hot dogs, burgers, fries, corn, and so much more. Yes, all the island food is included too, including the soft serve ice cream machines.

If you purchase a drink package as part of your cruise vacation, it also works when you’re visiting Perfect Day Coco Cay. Yes, drinks are included on the island with your package too!

Extra Experiences Worth Booking Ahead

If you’re looking to elevate your time at Perfect Day Coco Cay, or maybe you’ve been a few times and want to do something different, there are plenty of extras available. All of these items are best booked in advance, so you’re not disappointed when you arrive. Some experiences may sell out. You can book them through your Cruise Planner once your cruise has been deposited.

Extra experiences include:
Thrill Waterpark, where you will find several large waterslides, including the tallest waterslide in the Caribbean. There is also a wave pool and an activity pool. Pricing to access the waterpark can vary based on availability, and a limited number of passes are sold each day.

Other options include Up, Up and Away hot air balloon rides, zip lining, water sports like snorkeling and jet skis, and bungalow or cabana rentals.

Shopping on the Island

Over on Chill Beach, there is also a beach marketplace. You can spend time browsing and shopping for souvenirs. The shops sell items like t-shirts, swimsuit cover-ups, magnets, beach bags, and a variety of other handmade goods.

You can also find shops that sell Royal Caribbean and Perfect Day Coco Cay branded items if that’s what you’re looking for. In case you forgot some necessities, you’ll also find sunscreen, cooling towels, and more. For your convenience, the shops on this island will take your cabin key as a form of payment, and anything you purchase will be charged to your shipboard account.

Hideaway Beach℠: Adults Only

New to Perfect Day Coco Cay is Hideaway Beach℠, the adults only area on the island. It is the only area on the island that you need to purchase a separate day pass to access. That’s for good reason! Let’s take a look.

When you first enter Hideaway Beach, you’ll be greeted with an incredible band and some amazing views. The lagoon beach is absolutely pristine and the perfect beach to take a nice stroll along. In addition to the beach, there is a very large resort-style infinity pool that is heated, which is a definite plus in my books!

Need something to eat? You’ll find the same snacks here as anywhere else on the island. There are elevated seating options and plenty of covered shade. And one bonus: pizza! This is the only place you can find some delicious pizza. We tried them all, and they were delicious!
